Spirit Heaven Sirius Iconography

This article has many issues. It is incomplete in several ways. Also, promises to speak to Iconography, symbols used to depict Sirius—but it does not. Please help.

Finding Sirius in the night sky

I had to buy an app for my cell phone to locate Sirius because my innocent understanding of bright objects in the night sky was spoiled by people putting stuff there that reflect. There are about 1,400 intentionally placed satellites up there and about 6,000 more "pieces of junk" waiting for garbage collection day. And to boot, the International Space Station sits close to our line of sight of Sirius. Then, of course, there are thousands of people who choose to fly on a route that cross my view whenever I  look up at night. I am tired of plotting Orion out only to be confused when my Betelgeuse moves away with red and green blinking lights.

Sirius, the New Year Star

For Wayists, Sirius is the New Year star, and our Sukhavati (Skt. Land of Bliss). It reaches the topmost position in the dome of the sky at midnight Dec 31st, announcing the end of the old year and the beginning of the new. Astronomers call this a midnight culmination of Sirius. As the New Year rings in, Sirius is at its highest.

Almost every Wayist is out there at that New Year time, looking up. As to the number of Wayists sober enough to actually see much up there at midnight ~ well, scholarly consensus is you can count them on one hand. No, just joking of course (many estimate two hands). How many Wayist fell over backward on New Years eve? Ah, terrible joke…some people actually got hurt over the past two millennia, trying to see the New Year position of Sirius at midnight. The first chiropractors all were Wayist's wives…OK, enough with the jokes.

Three Wise Men

The "three wise men" used the pre-dawn rising of Sirius to guide them to Bethlehem. They were told to wait at a small time in the Judean desert and at a given time, the pre-dawn rising of Sirius would show them the direction in which to travel to find the incarnation of the god. This was to keep the location of the baby secret, for security reasons. The three wise men watched Sirius rise just before dawn and headed in that direction for about 20km, to find the family with the new-born baby in the small truck-stop village of Bethlehem.

Orion's Belt

If you're not sure where to look, the constellation Orion is a good place to start. Look for the prominent Belt stars of the constellation. Orion’s Belt always points to Sirius.

Too bright for science!?

Sirius is too bright for us to see anything in it. Human science still lacks what is required to "look into" the area that the Lord calls Home. Wayism could have been an easier 'sell' if Wayist had like travel brochures and stuff to show people where we are all heading, but it is just too much Light for us to handle. We don't have nice pictures of Heaven.

Heaven Holiday Resort Ooty11
This heaven is in Ooty, or Udhagamandalam in Tamil Nadu. The beauty of the area truly qualifies for an honourable mention, but please do not be fooled, this place is NOT in Sirius.

Roadmap to Heaven

By virtue of fact that we don't cognitively know things about heaven, but we know it exists, it is opened up for speculation, entertainment thinking and myth. There is no shortage of myths about Sirius.

From a Wayist point of view, there is no magic or secret knowledge, esoteric mantra of chant you can do to make contact with the special beings from Sirius. All will go to Heaven; just walk the Path, go along with the flow of the Way.

All will get there in due time. It may be this life, or another fifty lives from now, but it will happen for you.

No manner of jihad or severe complimenting God because he is so big will get you there sooner. Sex and gender is for the body, not the spirit, so no number of virgins will make anyone happy up there. You cannot push that river, just live as completely as possible; it will happen for you when the time is right.

Rising with the sun

The heliacal rising of Sirius (it usually rises just before the sun, but once a year it rises with the sun, and that is heliacal rising) was considered very important in ancient Egypt, making Sirius probably the most important star. Egyptians noticed, probably in about 2800 BC, that the rising of Sirius coincided with two natural phenomena: the beginning of the hot weather of summer, and the annual flooding of the Nile. They used the appearance of Sirius to predict the coming of the floods, and declared the first day that Sirius was visible before the Sun to be the first day of their new year. At that time, at the latitude of Egypt, the date of the heliacal rising of Sirius was approximately July 1, although it has moved to later in the year during the intervening thousands of years.

Ancient Egyptians had a close understanding of Wayism and their relationship to Sirius was extraordinary. The cult of Isis taught Wayist doctrine way back then.

Contacting spiritual beings from back Home

To contact the dear and special beings from Heaven who care about us, is very easy. Anyone can do it without training or expensive seminars. The Lord and thousands of angels and bodhisattvas are here, among us. With practise anyone can increase spiritual awareness through exrcises that some call prayr, some call meditation, and some say contemplation.

Reach out in spirit and "touch the Lord". He is closer to you than your hand. Close your eyes and ask, "make me a channel of Your peace," live that attitude of meditation and you will intimately contact with the hosts of Heaven.

Om Shati Shanti Om
