Nirvanalaksanayoga Tantra

This tantra is the precursor to what in the west was called NLP, neurolinguistic propgramming, pneumatherapy and so on. It is an approach to remake all our mental wiring to take charge of the soul, of consequences and our own spiritual growth and wellness.

Question: I want to learn Nirvanalaksanayoga Tantra, is it possible?
Answer:

There are two ways to learn this tantra.

One is to train as a spiritual energy healer, a pneumatherapist. This can be accomplished by learning theory and attending a clinic to do an apprenticeship. There are several specialty areas from which one can choose.

The second is a long-term commitment. It is the path of radical transformation. Here, again, we have two ways.

  1. One, is to commit as a lay-yogi(n), and adopt the monastic lifestyle for laypersons.
  2. Second is to commit and be accepted as a full-time yogi(n) in dedicated community.

Both these options learn to heal and practice as healers and teachers, once their transformations are well on the way.

Question: How do I decide whether to choose Nirvanalaksanayoga Tantra as my Path?
Answer:  You don’t decide, you yield. Karma will lead you to discover the Path and your personal dharma will jump for joy or be very intrigued, then you know. You don’t decide, you yield to the call. You don’t call the Path, it calls you. You will know when your time comes. It comes as a burning desire that remains with you. It nags in the back of the mind. As you resist, you become aware how Karma brings you back to the thought.
Question: How do I know if I am ready for Nirvanalaksanayoga Tantra lifestyle?
Answer:

The Acharya in charge will know, that is the role s/he plays in your journey. However, you may want to read up about Nirvanalaksanayoga Tantra and ask a yogin or teacher questions. Don’t be disquieted when they don’t reveal esoteric practices and doctrines.

Trust is paramount. You MUST feel that you want to trust totally. Not every teacher or Acharya can (or wants to) be all things to all people.

Question: Can I practice Nirvanalaksanayoga Tantra as a layperson or must I commit to monastic life?
Answer:  If you are a layperson, you must commit to the monastic lifestyle for laypersons. Monastic life for laypersons is practiced by householders who cannot or will not join a full-time satsang/sangha. However, all training starts in full time satsang with a commitment of no less than several weeks—depending on your Acharya.
Question: What is life like for full-time devotees?
Answer:

Satsangs offer healing services to the public. Nirvanalaksanayoga Tantra is all about healing, personal transformation, soul energies, and compassion. Devotees practice, according to their skillset and talents, different tasks in clinic, in retreats, in public and in maintaining satsang facilities.

Junior devotees pay for their food and upkeep. Ordained full-time yogins receive basic requirements according to the demands of their role.

Question: How do I get accepted as a devotee?
Answer:  Obtain an interview with an Acharya and request to be tested. This can be a process. There are online articles written by teachers and devotees are available that speak to what one can expect and how to go about being accepted as a student.
Question: I only want the healing, but I am not a devotee?
Answer:  Yes, of course. There are Wayist clinics and healing retreats that are open to the public regardless of your spiritual or religious sentiments. Wayist Spiritual Energy Center in Siem Reap, for example, will be happy to answer your questions in this regard.
Question: Is Wayist Tantra like the sex tantras of other religions?
Answer:

If you are asking whether the ancient tantra traditions are focused on sex, the answer is no. Sexual energies is something they all touch upon in different ways of teaching but “focused on sex”, not one of the ancient traditions are like that.

Western-styled tantra and neo-tantra is very much focused on sex.

In Nirvanalaksanayoga Tantra the teaching of sacred sensuality is import. It deals with sanctifying all that we can sense from taste, smell, touch, the sense of energy in nature and the many varied senses we experience during erotic states and well as our sense of space, sense of balance, sense of barometric pressure, sense of another soul in our space, sense of our own chakras, sense of our own mind, sense of another person’s mind, sense of other people’s feelings and perceptions as well as ours, etc.

Sacred sensuality is unique to Nirvanalaksanayoga Tantra, no other tantra teaches this way.

Question: Is Wayist tantra a cult?
Answer:

The definition of cult is varied, but mostly the negative definitions have one thing in common, it revolves around the person of the teacher, guru or acharya.

This happens during the training phase, total dedication to the teacher. However, something we do not see in the definitions for cults, and this is perhaps vital, is that Wayism is all about empowerment of individuals. All devotees become more in charge of their lives, more independent, more free to make decisions for themselves and own the outcomes of their mental processes. Healing and empowerment is what it is all about and all teachers see a future time when their students move on with their lives independent from the teacher.

Nothing about Wayism has mechanisms to keep people attached. Non-attachment is an important option we must all have at our disposal.

Question: Can I get a book on Wayist tantra?
Answer:

Wayism has never, ever published a book on this tantra or tantra teachings. Tantra is custom-made, tailor-made, individualized training.

If you find a book on this tantra, walk away, it will be fake and it cannot be anything but deficient..

Only make use of tantra teachers who are vetted by Wayism International Association, the stewards of this website and the WAWO organisation.
